MOST Evaluation

Since the creation of MOST in 1998, four studies have been conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of the MOST program. The first three studies were paid for by a grant from the Hyde Family Foundation, and the fourth by a grant from the Assisi Foundation of Memphis, Inc. The studies included data from parental surveys and focus groups, as well as test scores of students in kindergarten through grade eight. The most recent study of both student achievement and parental satisfaction was completed by the Center for Research in Education Policy at the University of Memphis on the 2006-2007 school year. A survey of parents was also conducted in 2009.
