Helping Children Make the
Most of Their Education.

"Making the MOST of our future" is the motto of the Memphis Opportunity Scholarship Trust (MOST). MOST believes all parents deserve to have the educational opportunity of their choice for their children. Unfortunately, this is not always possible. While affluent families can choose the school that best fits their children's needs and interests, for many low-income families this choice is unavailable because of financial requirements of the schools. This is where MOST steps in. MOST awards tuition assistance to low-income families in the Memphis metro area who want the best educational opportunities for their children.

Since 1998, MOST has awarded scholarships regardless of race, religion, ethnicity, or academic achievement, providing all children with the same chance to succeed academically. MOST also partners with the Children's Scholarship Fund, which matches donations for some of the awarded scholarships. The results have been extraordinary. Thanks to MOST, CSF and generous gifts from the community, parents of all backgrounds now have the opportunity to provide the type of education they want for their children.
