Helping to Give Children Educational
Opportunities Since 1998

MOST is the only privately funded school-choice program in Memphis. It was founded in 1998 by a small group of local businessmen who believe low-income families should be able to provide the most appropriate school for their children. One year later, because of MOST, more than 750 students gained access to the same educational opportunities typically enjoyed by affluent families. Thanks to contributions of approximately $13 million from individuals, corporations, and foundations in Memphis, MOST has served more than 2,500 children. In addition to local donations, MOST receives a limited amount of matching funds from the Children's Scholarship Fund (CSF), an organization that funds thousands of scholarships across the United States.
